Dr. Alexander received his BS degree from Georgetown University and MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine.
He completed his internship and medical residency at Emory University and a cardiology fellowship at Georgetown. He is board-certified in
Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He holds a master’s degree in public health from George Washington University. He is a Fellow of the
American College of Cardiology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases.
Dr. Alexander practiced Cardiology in D.C., Northern Virginia, and New Jersey for twenty-two years. He has served as an adjunct professor
in the School of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University, Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia College of Physicians
and Surgeons, and Clinical and Instructor in Medicine at Georgetown. Currently, he is a medical director at Evolent Health and a board member of
Coastal Volunteers in Medicine, a 501(c)3 charity helping the medically underserved in Ocean County, New Jersey.
